An MS-DOS program that demonstrates many of Minaret's features is available for downloading below. When you click on the "Download" link, the compressed PKZIP file "demo.zip" will be transferred to your computer. You will need a copy of the program "PKZIP" in order to uncompress the demo after you have downloaded it.

Procedure

1. Click here to download the file "demo.zip" (130K).
   
   
2. When you save the file on your computer, place it in its own directory. This makes it easier to remove the demo when you are finished.
   
   
3. From the MS-DOS prompt, uncompress the "demo.zip" file with PKZIP by typing "pkunzip demo" and pressing ENTER (don't type the quotation marks).
   
   
4. To run the demo, type "demo" and press ENTER (don't type the quotation marks).
   
   
5. The first screen has nothing to do with the demo. Press any key to start the demo.
   
   
6. You can run the demo as often as you like. To remove the demo from your computer, delete the four files that were installed (demo.zip, _.dbd, _.exe and demo.bat). If you installed the demo in its own directory, you can delete all of the files in that directory and the directory itself.
